Imps put in convincing win in pre-season opener

The Imps got off to the perfect start with Taylor heading in a McCallum cross just minutes before the Canadian got himself on the scoresheet, hitting an impressive volley from a cross from trialist Brad Barraclough. Fuseini slotted a through ball to Andy Hutchinson and the striker uncharacteristically hit the back of the net to make it 3-0 before half time.
New signing Josh Gowling headed in to make it 4-0 early on in the second half. That was the final goal in what was a pretty convincing win by the Imps.
SQUAD : Anyon (Lindburg H/T), Nicolau, Watts, Hone, Sinclair (Gowling H/T), McCallum (Power H/T), O'Keefe, Fuseini, Hutchinson, Taylor (Hutchinson H/T) and Barraclough.
