Imps lose at Gainsborough as midfielder storms off pitch

A Lincoln City side that was missing several first team players lost at Gainsborough on Tuesday evening but the main talking point was Ali Fuseini storming off of the pitch just before half time. The former Millwall midfielder was heavily tackled on several occasions and left the field of play in what could best be described as "a huff".
Lincoln rested first teamers Joe Anyon, Josh Gowling, Danny Hone, Tony Sinclair, Josh O'Keefe and Jamie Taylor ahead of the trip to Gainsborough
Gainsborough took a lead in the first half when a shot from distance took a very heavy deflection and went beyond trialist Lindburg. It was the only goalscoring chance of the first half but it certainly wasn't the only talking point. Just before half time Ali Fuseini suffered several heavy tackles and the referee waved play-on one too many times for Fuseini's liking and after venting his frustrating, the midfielder took his shirt off and went straight down the tunnel whilst the game was still in play. He did emerge soon afterwards and was promptly booked.
The second half wasn't full of goalscoring opportunities and it took a wonder goal from Gavin McCallum to pull City level, but Gainsborough re-established their lead within a minute and the game ended 2-1.

I was stood no more than five feet away from the one that saw him walk off, and to be fair it was dangerous and should have easily been a free kick.....didn't even win the ball.
