Steve Tilson : "I will not resign"

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson has defiantly he will not resign as manager of the Imps. Tilson has come under increasing pressure as time has gone on and yet another defeat has hardly helped his cause.

On March 12th Lincoln beat Southend United 2-1 in what appeared like three points that confirmed safety, 8 games, 1 win, 5 draws, 14 defeats, 12 goals scored, 39 goals conceded and one relegation later and the Imps are 22nd in the Blue Square Premier. With the majority now firmly in the "Tilson Out" side of the fence, pressure has been mounting on the former Southend man but following City's 2-0 defeat at home to Kettering, Tilson has defiantly said "I will not resign".

With the Imps being out of money, the majority of City's fans were hoping that Tilson would resign from the club much like the previous occupier of the Sincil Bank hotseat, Chris Sutton.

Tilson's record at Sincil Bank is atrocious, with a losing record in the League of 54.28% and only four men in the entire history of the foobtlal club have achieve worse than that, Jack Strawson (56.70%), Alf Martin (68.57%), Con Moulson (100%), George Fraser (57.14%) and Steve Wicks (71.43%)

Wally with the Brolly refused to resign, so the witless FA had to fork out £4m for him to fork off.
