Lincoln City's home game to Grimsby Town on Boxing Day has been moved to a 1pm kick off. Although nothing has been on Lincoln's official website, Grimsby Town posted the news on Friday.

The Imps have an awful record against Grimsby Town in recent years. Seven meetings have past with LincolnLincoln Citys Scott Kerr (right) is shown the red card late in the game by referee Lee Mason. taking three points since goals from Jamie Forrester and Lee Frecklington gave the Imps victory in December 2006. In the last ten years the Imps and the Mariners have met 16 times in all competitions and Lincoln have won just three of the matches compared to Grimsby's eight. City haven't even scored at Grimsby from open play since Ciaran Toner, who would later join Grimsby, scored City's fourth in a 4-2 win in January 2005.

The two teams will meet for the first time in the non-league on Boxing Day and then again on New Year's Day. The game on Boxing Day will now be a 1pm kick off with the New Year's trip also likely to be moved to an early kick off.
