Lincoln City have made three loan signings on the same day that more financial worries were made aware. Luke Medley has joined from Kidderminster Harriers, Tyrone Thompson is back for a second loan spell and Eastwood's Sheridan has made the step up a division.
With all of City's strikers, with the exception of Sam Smith, failing to hit the net since August 23rd, striker Luke Medley has joined from Kidderminster Harriers. He has only scored 12 professional goals in 91 games for Bradford, Cambridge, Barnet, Havant and Waterlooville (twice), Woking, Mansfield, Barnet and Aldershot. He has played for Mansfield under Holdsworth and scored 5 in 16 goals for the Stags, but Holdsworth did describe him as "marmitey", either you love him or you hate him.
Tyrone Thompson is back for a second loan spell in 10 years. He initially joined the Imps in 2002/3 from Sheffield United but featured mainly in City's LDV Vans Trophy campaign. The Imps will become the fourth different side Thompson has played for in 2011 after spells at Mansfield, Grimsby and Halifax, from whom he has joined on loan.
The final loanee coming in is another player from the Blue Square North, Eastwood Town's Jake Sheridan. Sheridan has played for Notts County and Tamworth in recent years before joining Eastwood in the summer.
All will be on loan at Sincil Bank until just after the new year.
