Cardiff 0 - Coventry 1

Missed this match due to spending a few days away on a well earned break (Having not worked since January!*), and was ecstatic upon hearing that Coventry City had managed to take all three points at what I would regard as one of the trickier away fixtures over the season (Despite Cardiff's recent poor home record).

While I might have missed this match due to travelling 150 miles in the opposite direction, a fair few people that did intend to go also missed this match due to nightmare roadworks! They would have took even longer if my other half was reading the map....

Despite rumours that the Fowler-Hasselbaink strike force might be unleashed on our 50% make-shift defence, they weren't, much to the dismay of some Cardiff supporters (Some of whom were already unhappy at pictures of one of those named appearing sh*t-faced in a local paper while recovering from injury).

Konstantopoulos made some decent saves to keep the home side at bay, while Coventry did their fair share of attacking too.

It took 35 minutes for the dead-lock to be broken, with Jay Tabb changing from provider to scorer (With McKenzie going from scorer to provider!).

Feeney missed a great chance to equalise, and tried to make amends with a fairly blatant looking dive in the Coventry City penalty area. With seconds left on the clock, Darren Purse crashed his spot-kick against the bar, and Coventry City's 100% away record was kept intact.

Team: Konstantopoulos, Osbourne, Ward, Hall, Borrowdale, Tabb, S. Hughes, Doyle, Gray (Simpson 90), Adebola, MacKenzie (Mifsud 75).
SNU: Marshall, Page, Cairo.
