Stories from the however many weeks it is since I last posted (I was missing due to a nice holiday in the snow!). Match reports from the last few matches to follow soon too, though they say much the same thing as normal: 'Blimey Charlie! We won!'; 'a disappointing home result'; 'not committed enough'; 'not strong enough', .

Michael Mifsud was in Asda, Walsgrave (Coventry), signing autographs as part of Coventry City's first supermarket partnership agreement (It was pre-arranged, he didn't just turn up with a paste table and a biro). According to the club's commercial director, 100 people attending (Which is how many bothered) is regarded as a success - if that's his definition, and it's good enough for the club, it's little wonder all we ever do is tread water. And also how typical of the club to send somebody who doesn't want to be here anymore too....

Dimi Konstantopoulos has extended his stay with Swansea until December 28th, while Coventry City have finally got rid of versatile defender Gary  Borrowdale, and sometimes emergency right-back Chris Birchall, just as the club face a defender crisis. Quite what it says about their abilities that it took three months to find anybody interested in them speaks volumes for the quality of our squad....

The club are deciding on whether or not to sign 18-year-old Johan Gudmunsson, who is also interesting Hamburg. According to reports, said player is a winger, which would be enough of a reason to sign him, as he can't be any more disappointing than Michael Mis-fire....

Leon Best has changed his footwear in a bid to improve his scoring record, opting for some 'Ronaldinho' football boots instead. Knowing Coventry City's luck, instead of improving in front of goal, Best will turn into a buck-toothed party animal with a weight problem.

Away from football, but staying around the Arena, Scouting For Girls - a truly awful band - managed to sell out their gig in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall. And yet Coventry City, who have been known to entertain every so often, can't even half-fill their ground....

Finally, quite how this story was missed by the tabloids is beyond me, but during July of this year, a live chicken was found under a car in the Arena car park....
