Coventry 2-2 Forest

Another match missed, but this time due to illness! Though, if the opinions I've read from a few people that went are to be believed, I missed nothing, as Coventry City once again disappointed at home. The January transfer window can't open quickly enough!

I had local radio commentary on for this game, though spent the majority of said waffling drifting into semi-consciousness. And, unless I was dreaming it, the main feature of the good people painting pictures for me was that the words 'Jay Tabb' were usually followed by the word 'poor'. Said player has had a dig at supporters due to their lack of noise, but maybe if certain players weren't a pale shadow of their former selves, supporters might just find their voice again? Not to worry, as he'll be gone soon.

Things looked OK early on, with Elliott 'Beckenbaur' Ward opening the scoring within two minutes. Against a poor Forest side, this could and should have been the start of something good. But this is Coventry City. So it wasn't.

I was woken from my stupor to hear Forest equalise, predictably, through Rob Earnshaw, a player so short he's probably on the list of potential midgets to sign in January, and play out of position in our midfield. Or at right-back.

Forest's joy was short-lived, as the player I would have as captain, Clinton Morrison (Who was actually captain for this fixture because of Dann's absence), put the home side ahead again. Against a poor Forest side, this could and should have been the start of something good, again. But this is Coventry City. So it wasn't.

I don't remember much else about the commentary, but was disappointed to learn that somewhere along the line Forest's Garner made the scoreline 2-2, Mifsud was foiled by a fine Camp save with a minute left on the clock, while Forest missed two late chances to take all three points.
