News on Coventry-Chelsea tickets, Jordan Henderson's loan, fixture changes, and the F.A. Cup coming to Coventry!

Chelsea's allocation of 5,000+ tickets (Different sources say different amounts!) for next weekends quarter final have all been sold, according to their website. Tickets in the home section went on general sale on Saturday morning at 9am (One Message Board reports that phone sales have not stopped), with some locally based Chelsea fans expected in the home sections.

Jordan Henderson, whose loan spell at Coventry has coincided with an upturn in the clubs results and displays, has had his loan spell at Coventry City extended until the end of the season. Should Coventry City reach the play-offs or the F.A. Cup final, he would be ineligable due to the 93-day maximum loan rule.

The fixtures against Crystal Palace and Barnsley, postponed due to Coventry City's success in the F.A. Cup(!) have been re-arranged, with the former being played on Tuesday April 7th, and the latter on Tuesday April 21st.

Coventry City have won the 'Championship Programme Of The Year Award', chosen by Programme Monthly (According to CoventryMad). Presuming there's a trophy, let's hope it's the first of many pieces of silverware!

Talking of silverware, the F.A. Cup Trophy Tour Bus is at the Ricoh Arena on Monday, betweem 11am and 7pm. Aimed at children aged between seven and eleven, there's the chance to pose with the Cup itself, to relive memorable goals, and to score a goal and see the celebration in a packed Wembley Stadium. An un-named former team-mate of Coventry defender James McPake, still plying his trade at cash-strapped Livingstone, has reportedly taken to delivering pizzas to earn a living, as he and his fellow players have gone unpaid for the sixth time in eight months.

As well as being dumped by his girlfriend, the idiot that invaded the pitch in the Blackburn-Coventry fixture at Ewood Park has received a three year ban from all football grounds, and could lose his job in the army too. Shame. After receiving death threats via FaceBook, he had threatened to come to a Coventry City home fixture and do it again.
