Palace-Coventry : Preview

Coventry City possibly have, or possibly don't have, a severe injury crisis ahead of tonight's fixture away at Crystal Palace, depending on where your information comes from!
David Bell might be joining Leon MacKenzie on the 'not until next season' list, though Sporting Life claims he could replace Jordan Henderson tonight! As for Leon MacKenzie, all recent reports suggest he is out for a very long time, though according to last weekends 'Sun', McKenzie was only a doubt for the clash versus Reading, so maybe he'll be available for tonight?!
Steven Wright is also missing (Can't find anything to contradict that item of news), meaning either a start for Curtis Wynter, or reverting to being played out-of-position again for Isaac Osbourne, while Jordan Henderson is being checked for a possible broken bone in his foot.
Leon Best is suffering from groin knack, though could still at least make the bench (I Always knew those wood-work classes would come in handy for him) .... or he could be out for a fair few matches. Confused? You should be....
Crystal Palace could be without a few players, including Clint Hill and Shaun Derry, with reports suggesting Palace boss Neil Warnock might give a few youngsters a chance, and what most see as a 'nothing to play for' fixture (With apathy certainly seeming to rule on Coventry City Message Boards!).
Coventry City's overall record against Crystal Palace is: Played 94, Won 34, Drawn 30, and Lost 40. More recently, our record versus Palace has been worse than dismal, as over the last eight fixtures, Coventry have lost seven times and drawn once. Palace were also the second side to win at the newly opened Ricoh Arena (In the 2005-6 season), with Clinton Morrison amongst the scorers for the away side.
