Coventry 2 Derby 1 (Late!)

A goal ten minutes from time from birthday boy Ben Turner (His first for the club) secured all three points for Coventry City, at home to Derby County.

Following a poor performance versus Watford, Turner put in a man-of-the-match display, which included a superb clearance off the line after a Westwood error, and a solid display throughout.

A dismal crowd of 13,169 (Which included Marlon King), watched a fairly poor match, which sadly for Sky, had been selected as a televised match, on the fifth anniversary of the opening of the Ricoh Arena.

Jutkiewicz's second penalty in two games gave Coventry the lead after half-an-hour, with Gary McSheffrey, who had won the penalty, missing an excellent chance to make it 2-0 just before half-time.

Jutkiewicz reportedly injured himself taking the penalty, and was replaced soon after by Clive Platt, who once again put in an impressive display.

Derby equalised through Moxey on 51 minutes, with Coventry disappearing slightly after this, with the away side looking most likely to take all three points, until Coventry City joined in again, with Carseley's quality cross met by Turner's powerful header on 81 minutes.

A superb save from Westwood late on ensured Coventry City made it two wins out of two at home for the season, with the win putting Coventry City at the top of the table for at least a few hours....
