Head-To-Head, Recent Form, Team News, and the Latest Betting Odds, ahead of Saturday's Championship match between Leeds and Coventry City.
Just what you want/need whe you're on a garbage run of form is a game at a ground you haven't won at for years, and where you have a fairly awful record anyway.
Coventry City and Leeds United have met 80 times in all competitions, with Leeds having won 42 times, compared to The Sky Blues 17 victories, while 21 matches have ended in a draw.
The last time the two sides met, in the Championship, in November, LU left the Ricoh 3-2 winners (In a game Coventry City should have won). Before that, in the 2006/7 season, both sides won their home fixture, Coventry 1-0 (With Stern John scoring the games only goal), and Leeds 2-1 (Adam Virgo scoring Coventry's '1').
The Coventry side for the 1-0 victory was: Marshall, McNamee, Page, Ward, Hall, Birchall, Hughes, Doyle, Tabb (Cameron), Kyle (Hutchison), John (McKenzie). SNU: Adebola, Thornton.
Leeds have won the last six meetings at Elland Road between the sides (With the last seven games where Coventry were the home side reading: one Coventry win, three draws, three LU wins).
Since Coventry City's last win, on December 4th, LU have played ten Championship fixtures, and have won four, drawn five, and lost only once (Away to Cardiff).
Leeds are 8/11 to win, while Coventry are (A mere) 4/1. The draw is (A surprisingly low) 5/2. With Coventry's gift of giving away leads, Coventry half-time, Leeds full-time is 22/1. Leeds to win 2-0 is 6/1, Coventry to win 2-0 is 20/1.
The bookies don't particularly rate Coventry's chance of scoring first, with King joint eighth on the list: Becchio 5/1, Somma 6/1, Gradel 7/1, Sam 7/1, Paynter 7/1, Snodgrass 7/1, McCormack 7/1, Watt 8/1, King 8/1, and 'no goalscorer', at 9/1, coming in before any other Coventry City player.
