Leeds 1 Coventry 0 : Match Report .... ish

According to one or two reports, Coventry City were better than they have been of late; according to the BBC: "Leeds [were] dominant".

According to BBC stat's (Which doesn't quite back-up the above statement), possession was 55/45 in favour of Leeds; both sides had five shots on target, while Leeds had nine to Coventry's 6 off target; with the corner count 5-2 in Coventry's favour. Dominant might have been a slight exaggeration, but they won, so they probably don't care what word(s) described the match, as the points belong to them. So does a chance of reaching the Premiership.... 

This is the opinion of a Leeds United supporter, whose views I sought as I couldn't be bothered:

"Your man of the match was Kieran Westwood. Leeds were never going to beat him on a crossed effort. Clarke and O'Halloran struggled to contain Gradel and Snodgrass for the whole game. Eastwood played a good holding midfield role rather than a strikers role. Other than Woods chance at the start, and Jutkiewicz effort after our goal, there weren't many Coventry City chances on goal. Saying that, there were some nice passing moves for brief moments for Coventry. I just think Coventry lacked passion, heads were down. The Coventry fans were great, sang loud and proud, so different from the home fixture" (Cheers Mr I!).

PS: Meanwhile, in a land far, far away, some idiot that believed his own hype all those years ago (And ended up warming Barnsley's bench, and not playing for Real Madrid) was scoring a hat-trick on his debut. He could have been a hero had he stuck around, and maybe even got the move he thought he was worthy of. Aron Gunnarsson, be warned....
