If Coventry City players could score goals at the rate they trot out tired old cliches, promotion to the Premiership would already be a foregone conclusion....

The latest to add his name of pointless ways to fill column inches, is Aron Gunnarsson, with his astonishing observation that: 'You can’t be switching off in every game. If you do that you usually concede.'

Genius.

Know doubt there will be more stories in this series which probably has no end in the coming days .... or even hours.
