Coventry Blow It, Again

A late James Hayter equaliser earned Doncaster a draw, and dropped Coventry City slightly deeper in the brown stuff.
Coventry City did go up a place in the table thanks to Derby losing to Middlesboro, but over-all it wasn't a great evening results wise for the Sky Blues, who gave a full debut to young goalkeeper Michael Quirke.
Middlesboro gained ground on Coventry City, thanks to a 2-1 win over Derby, and their winner, like Doncaster's equaliser, came in the 88th minute. Boro are now only one point behind Coventry City in the table, as are Derby.
Mickey Adams finally recorded a win as Sheffield United manager, seeing his Sheffield United side bounce back from Adebola's opener for Forest, to win 2-1. SU are nine points behind Coventry City.
Of the other sides still below Coventry City, Scunthorpe (Thankfully) lost, while Crystal Palace beat Cardiff. Palace's victory was aided by a penalty miss from one-time Coventry City reject Peter Whittingham.
Third-bottom Scunthorpe are seven points behind Coventry City, while Palace are one win away, but have a far worse 'goals against' record (For now).
Relevant fixtures for forthcoming weekend are: Derby v Swansea; Portsmouth v Middlesboro; Nottm Forest v Doncaster; Scunthorpe v Leicester; and QPR v Crystal Palace.
