Mickey Adams Fired Again

Mickey Adams, the manager who helped Coventry City to a higher finish in their decade of under-achieving in D2 than any of the dozens of others that have tried, has been fired by Sheffield United.

Adams, who helped (For want of a better word) Sheffield United to just four victories in 24 matches, and, as a consequence, took them down to the third division, had been in charge at the club since December 30th. Assistant Alan Cork has been told to 'do one' too. 

It has not been reported whether or not Adams took his wife and daughter along to this sacking.
