King Set To Sign ..... Or Maybe Not

After large amounts of pant-wetting in the Coventry area after it was revealed Marlon King has verbally agreed to sign a new deal with Coventry City, it turns out he hasn't yet, and talks are, according to Sky Sports, actually on-going.

Meanwhile, over on Twitter, Leonard Brody claims he is unsure where Sky have got this story from, as a verbal agreement has definitely been struck between Ken [Delieu] and Andy [Thorn], and Marlon and his agent. 

Should King eventually re-sign, it would be a massive boost to the club, as he is one of the best players seen in a Sky Blue shirt in the last ten years, while, should he get a better offer from elsewhere and urinate off, it will be a severe kick in the 'nads. 

As Coventry City have a history of shouting from the roof-tops when they should actually be keeping it shut, I'll wait till Kings's contract is signed, and he's holding a Coventry City shirt in a local newspaper photograph, before I nip out and buy new boxer shorts....
