Coventry City's first proper test of the pre-season, a fixture against newly promoted Norwich City (Which wasn't deemed as good enough by some supporters, who were obviously expecting matches versus Cov-Barca and/or Cov-Real Madrid to be arranged), saw them on the wrong end of a 0-3 beating.
It took less than two minutes for Coventry City to go behind, Grant Holt the scorer. Morison added a second after 67 minutes, and Coventry City once again switched off just before the final whistle, with Bennett wrapping up the scoring after 87 minutes (Though Morison should have made it 4-0 in injury time).
O'Donovan just failed with an attempt to lob Ruddy in the Norwich goal for the home side, and did put the ball in the net for the home side with just over ten minutes left to play, but his effort was ruled out by the linesman, while the performance of Bigirimana was one of the biggest plusses of the day.
With a squad that lost two of its best players over the summer (And Aron Gunnarsson), and who has only brought in two keepers so far, injuries to Jutkiewicz, Baker, and Eastwood during this match, plus Deegan and Clarke, with less than a week left before the Championship gets under-way, is not what the team needs.
