Another game, another garbage display, another defeat.

McGoldrick gave Coventry City the lead six minutes into the match, but a Forrester double, the second being an injury time penalty, consigned Mark Robins side to another loss.

A Late Fleck effort, which hit the post, could have seen the away side sneak an undeserved away win, but Jordan Clarke’s foul late on Forrester gave the home side the points.

Robins described the defeat as ‘totally unacceptable’, and Coventry City’s display against Orient at the weekend should give some idea as to whether the players have taken his words on board. Probably not then.

TEAM: Murphy; Clarke, Reckord (Kilbane 59), Cameron, Wood, Jennings, Fleck, Moussa, Hussey (Baker 46), McGoldrick, Ball (McDonald 78). SNU: Dunn, Christie, Edjenguele, McSheffrey.
