A superb injury time comeback saw Coventry City through to the JPT area finals at the expense of hoof-ball merchants and opponent kickers Preston North End.

Jennings gave Coventry City a first half lead, before a soppily conceded equaliser (Which took a massive deflection) and a(nother) massively deflected PNE (Sort of) shot gave the away side the/(an undeserved) lead.

Late, late goals from Baker, and the more than adequate replacement for McGoldrick, Leon Clarke, broke Preston hearts, and sent Mark Robins side one step closer to Wembley.

There were three players queuing to score for the home side with the scoreline at 2-2, and seconds on the clock - previous manager Andy Thorn wouldn't even have had three players in the opposition half at said time!

Standing between Coventry City and the place they once called 'home' for a day is (Hopeful) conquerors of Aston Villa, Bradford (Good luck in the second leg!), or Crewe.

Coventry City have injury worries ahead of Sunday's game against Carlisle, with every player now carrying an injury....

Full match report to follow .... probably.
