Coventry City : The Farce Continues

In the latest chapter of the farce that is Coventry City, SISU have opted to put the club into admin, a day before ACL intended to. Or they haven’t (According to the Sky Sports reporter interviewed as I typed this).

In a move that is intended – according to the few people that have the slightest idea of what is going on – SISU have placed a non-operating subsidiary of the club into admin, possibly to try and avoid being deducted points.

As the people that make such decisions are probably the same people that valued Mark Hateley at around £1.50 when Portsmouth stole him from Coventry, only to see him go for over a million a year later, this plan is obviously doomed to failure.

In what is one of the biggest ‘No Sh*t Sherlock!’ comments made since this pathetic posturing contest started, ACL have stated the current situation is ‘unclear’.

If the squad could put anywhere as much effort into trying to gain promotion as SISU and ACL are into beating the other side into submission, Coventry City would already know they were playing in the Championship next season....
