League One Season Ends

Brentford's last second penalty miss, and Doncaster's very late winner, meant Doncaster finished the season as League One Champions, while Bournemouth were promoted as runners-up.

Coventry City did the double over both sides, beating Bournemouth at home in October, 1-0 (With McGoldrick scoring the only goal); beating Doncaster 4-1 away in December (With goals from Moussa, McGoldrick (2), and Barton); beating Bournemouth 2-0 away in February (With goals from Clarke and Baker); and beating Doncaster 1-0 at home in March (Christie the scorer).
