Coventry-Gillingham : The Countdown Begins....

Around 150 stewards turned up for a meeting at the Ricoh Arena, to discuss the return of football to said venue this Friday.

In brief/according to those that know:

All figures given in the local press are wrong - around 20,000 tickets have already been sold

Thousands more tickets will be made available, and the club are hoping to open the doors at 6pm on Friday (If the police give permission)

Around 300 away supporters are expected to join the party

The club are no more than a client, renting the ground for a number of hours on matchdays, and have to be out of the Ricoh within an alloted time (The punishment for failing to clear the area on time was not revealed)

The 'Skidata' ticketing system is no longer being used (Hopefully making it more difficult for people to get in for free)

The 'cashless system' is no longer being used

E-cigarettes are as 'no-go' as normal cigarettes, and are subject to the same half-time designated area rule

Protest banners are banned, and will be removed if they are spotted at the turnstiles

Academy players will be ball-boys! (So get their autographs now!)
