Another Decent Performance, Another Defeat!

A disputable penalty and a late winner from former CCFC target Jack Lester saw CCFC once again end a match with no points. I missed this one too due to being abroad, but it seems the script was the same as normal - by far the better side, but nil to show for it.

The referee didn't help matters, ignoring a penalty appeal after Barrett was felled by Kozluk, booking Konjic for tackling Allison, and, as mentioned earlier, awarding SU a highly debatable penalty - a decision that even the home fans could not believe (Brown scored from the spot). Added to this was the sending off of Eric Black, for the crime of returning the ball to the spot where it had gone out of play. Hangings to good for him! Eh? Mr. Crick?

Suffo equalised for CCFC after 66 minutes, scoring the sort of effort he has been threatening to do since joining CCFC, and CCFC should have gone on to take all three points. Unfortunately, once again a catologue of chances were wasted, as CCFC joined the `Gang Of Six' recently relegated Premiership clubs to occupy 19th to 24th place in the division.
