More Tales Of Transfer Inactivity....

It's now a month since the D1 season ended, and STILL CCFC haven't signed anybody - unless you count Richard Shaw .... which I don't! Reid claims he's keeping his cards close to his chest, but I doubt there are too many players that only he knows about the availability of....

The race for Dion Dublin has been lost, with the former CCFC man becoming even more unpopular - having left CCFC for Aston Villa, then chosen rivals Leicester over CCFC too - while Julian Joachim looks set to join Leeds United (Obviously having been tipped off that their treatment table is far more comfortable than CCFC's).

Gudjonsson still hasn't sorted anything out (Or should that be his "ten percenters haven't"?), and the rumour that Liverpool were to offer Warnock a new contract then loan him back to CCFC have so far come to nothing - so Teletext (Amongst other news agencies) have taken to writing the same story every few days, but changing the order of the words.

Supposed loan target Darren Purse looks to be on his way to WBA .... and that's your lot for another fortnight! (Don't blame me for the lack of news - blame the soon to be very sun-tanned Peter Reid!!).
