Not a lot doing regarding Coventry City, though with a budget that makes a 'Big Issue' seller seem minted, there's hardly likely to be much to get excited about over the summer months for Coventry City fans!

1. Stephen Hughes won the 'Player Of The Year', and the 'Players Player Of The Year', at the annual Coventry City awards. Just to show what a poor season it has been for Coventry City, certain players whose season didn't really start until around February or March were in the running. Isaac Osbourne rightly won the 'Young Player Of The Year' award.

2. A quarter of the sides in The Championship have made offers for Coventry City's star man Stephen Hughes, with CCFC's offer to the player being the lowest of those on the table! Re-considering the offer to give new contracts to certain of the ten that were, and spending the money on keeping Hughes, seems like a better option....

3. Despite rumours suggesting his stint at Coventry City would end this summer, Adrian Heath is staying on as No. 2 to Mickey Adams - presuming Mickey Adams stays as No. 1 at Coventry City! (Reports suggest he is among the favourites to take over at Southampton should Harry Redknapp step down). This more than likely means that Alan Cork will remain as reserve team manager, despite a disappointing sequence of results at the end of the season.

4. Dele Adebola reveals he might sign the new contract offered to him by Coventry City (Though we will have to wait a couple of nail-biting weeks to find out his answer). And Andy Morrell reveals he might not sign the contract he has been offered! (Unless he is played up front, rather than wide right). It's gripping stuff....

5. Luton Town beat a host of clubs, including Coventry City, to win the race for Wrexham wing-back Carlos Edwards. Sunderland goalkeeper Michael Ingham has joined Wrexham, having previously been linked with Coventry City, while former Nottm Forest keeper Mark Crossley is also being linked with Coventry City.

6. Despite being part of football during the "licence to print money years", Richard Shaw has been offered a testimonial by Coventry City (And a new contract, with a reduced salary).

7. The silence is deafening as those that are asked about the rumours the Arena is behind schedule refuse to answer. Having driven past said quality stadium only yesterday (Saturday 21st), and seen no workmen on site, either this rumour is untrue, or they've given up trying to get it finished on time!

8. The player who should have earned a first team call-up ahead of expensive flop Craig Bellamy during Coventry City's relegation season, Stephen McPhee, leaves Portugese football to sign for newly promoted Championship side Hull.

9. Aston Villa want to sign (To quote GuardianUnlimited) "rat-faced Welsh no-neck Craig Bellamy". A match made in football heaven....
