Steve Agnew back at Leeds now in charge of the u18 side
Leeds lined up using a 5-3-2 formation
with Hutton as right wing back and Fisher as left wing back, Lees, Grace and Wilkinson as centre backs.
midfiled 3 of Gordon on the left, Hotchkiss in the middle and Cartman on the right, up front David Brown and Stefan Connor

Leeds went behind in the first 5 mins failing to deal with a free kick, a Man C player got a slight head to the high floated ball into the box and the ball sneaked into the corner of Edwards' net 0-1

Leeds hit back midway through the first half after David Brown was foulded in the box. Brown duly dispatched the penalty confidently into the bottom corner 1-1

Leeds went behind just before half time, again failing to deal with a free kick and the loose ball was slid home past Edwards 1-2

half time saw 12 Tomi Ameobi replace 9 Steffan Connor

David Brown showed just why he is such a goal scoring predator to drag the score back to 2-2, a Man C defender made a back pass to the keeper, who fluffed an attempted clearance, Brown nipped in to score from an actute angle

Late in the second half Leeds had to soak up pressure from City, apart from a Hotchkiss shot Leeds were on the backfoot.

3 Fisher was replaced by 14 Delph with 11 Ben Gordon dropping to left wing back and 15 Mycoe replaced 8 Hotchkiss

With the Leeds midfield in disarray City pressure told and a stretched Leeds defence conceeded a third in the last few mins 2-3

A spirited performance against a good City Academy set up.
