CONFIRMED - Delph signs for Villa

Aston Villa have confirmd the signing of midfielder, Fabian Delph for an undisclosed fee from Leeds United. The midfielder only became a regular in the Leeds first team last season and quickly attracted the interest of the pundits and Premier League clubs.
Whilst it is a significant loss to Leeds United, the deal is rumoured to be as high as £8m, although Bradford City will take a percentage of that as part of a sell-on clause.
Leeds chairman is in record as saying that funds will be made available to Simon Grayson and replacement for Delph is already lined up.

5m plus appearances will rise eventually to 7m, we always get shafted

£5m for a 19 year old with 1 years experience is NOT shafted imo. It's bloody good business for League 1

If this were an episode of 'Little House on the Prairie' now Pa would be playing his fiddle and we would all be dancing around the campfuire to celebrate the sale of lazy old Fab and the securing of TA.
