A very strong reserve side eventually ground out a convincing score. Goals from Domi, McMaster, Mcphail and Kilgallon saw Leeds home

A Leeds reserve side, which contained Harte, Mills, Domi, Batty and Mcphail scored 3 late goals to beat Harrogate Town 4-1. Domi opened the scoring, his first effort charged down, before he hit a left footed daisy cutter into the far corner to open the scoring. Simon Johnson looked sharp and hit the bar as Leeds looked to increase their lead. After the interval, Harrogate came back, and a header from 6 yards squared things, and but for a couple of good saves by Scott Carson, could have gone into the lead. With 20 minutes to go Mills charged down the right, and his low cross was tapped home by Jamie Mcmaster. Leeds' superior fitness now shone through, and it was no suprise when Domi appeared down the right, and crossed for Mcphail, who got into the box more often than usual, hit home a good drive from a tight angle. Minutes later and Matthew Kilgallon completed the scoring, also down the left, when his angled drive beat the Harrogate keeper. Good performances from Batts, who played his first 90 minutes, and the very fast Didier Domi...
