The Brazilian would be another loan signing, but Reid must get moving quickly as the transfer deadline is in 4 days time. Roque Junior is 26 years old, and will be 27 on Sunday. He is currently playing for Milan, after signing from Brazilian side Pameiras where he made 57 appearances.

The 6 foot 3 defender has Portugese nationaility so a work permit is not an issue. This would be a major coupe for Leeds, and the centre half would bolster a frail looking defensive line due to the injuries suffered by Matteo and Radebe.

Leeds would be looking at yet another season long loan, again with an option to buy at the end of it. All of the loan signings so far have this option, with the exception of Jermaine Pennant. The Arsenal man is on a two month deal, although it has been revealed that it could be extended by another month if it suits all parties
