Leeds slumped to their heaviest away defeat for over 4 sides, and were comprehensively out thought and worse still, out battled...

Leeds put up their worst performance of Peter Reid's reign, with a shocking performance at Leicester last night. Not one player emerged with any credit, although some were worse than others. Leeds actually started brightly, but for the majority of the game, there was only one team in it. Leeds were woeful, although it took a wonder goal from Nalis, and a clever turn from Dikov to kill the game. The goals came in a 3 minute spell, and Leeds couldn't respond. The second half was more of the same, and Dickovs second put the game out of Leeds' reach. Scowcrofts last minute header was no real suprise either, as Leicester must have won 90% of all headers, and a goal seemed inevitable. At the back, Roque Junior endured the kind of debut that is best instantly forgotten. The Brazillian world cup winner had a nightmare game, but wasn't the only one. Smith and Viduka had little ball, but didn't compete - never seen Smithy as quiet. Morris and Johnson lost the battle by some distance in midfield, while Pennant and Sakho never really offered a threat going forward, although to be fair, both did their share of tracking back. The back four was poor, and it was obvious that they'd never played together before. All in all a match to forget, and I'm sure Reid will not let the players perform like that again...
