Leeds skipper in race to face Birmingham

Leeds United skipper Dominic Matteo faces a race against time to be fit for the visit of Birmingham City this coming Saturday.....

The defender went over on his ankle in training before the debacle at Leicester, and it was very much in evidence how much he was missed. Matteo is expected back in training later this week, and boss Peter Reid will be hoping the £4.5 million defender is able to take his place in the United back line.
