Leeds Reserves v Newcastle Reserves

Leeds take a very young reserve side to Newcastle United tonight as they look to keep their impressive early season form going....

There are a few notable absentees from the line up, as the likes of Domi, Lennon, Bridges, Duberry, Radebe, McMaster and Chapuis are all left out. With no game this weekend, it’s a surprise that Reid hasn’t taken the chance to let some of the first team squad have a run out. The only players with first team experience are Richardson, Simon Johnson and James Milner. This will be Milners first game for Leeds since he returned from his loan spell at Swindon, and he will be pushing to claim a place on the bench for Saturdays visit of Manchester United.
