Leeds v Man Utd-big match build up

There’s three days to go before the big game at Elland Road on Saturday and there is some good news for Leeds ahead of the clash....

Australian striker Mark Viduka seems to be winning his battle to be fit after a slight hamstring strain, and boss Peter Reid is expecting to name him in the line up. As reported yesterday, the only players that Reid will not be able to call on are Ian Harte who is banned, and Jody Morris who has been suspended by the club pending an internal investigation. Man Utd have no new injury worries, and are likely to include the under fire Rio Ferdinand in their line up. The ex Leeds man is facing further investigations into his failure to attend a drugs test, but is likely to take his place at the heart of the Man U defence. The Man Utd ticket allocation has been cut to just 1600 people as a result of violent clashes by both sets of fans last year, and the last few tickets in the Leeds end have been snapped up. More team news and updates tomorrow…
