New manager - weekend round up

More weekend stories linking us with various managers, but the new front runner appears to be Gordon Strachan. The Scot is on the short list, and there may have been contact.

Southampton have apparently given Leeds permission to talk to the ex Leeds man, as he is out of contract at the end of the year. If Strach is to take over, he will need assurances about our finances, and that is where stories of the Sheik have appeared again, supposedly ready to invest some cash into the club to buy players – any truth in it? Don’t be surprised….. A new name in the frame is Gianluca Vialli, a man well known to new CEO Trevor Birch. Paul Hart, Neil Warnock and Eddie Gray are the other front runners. The voting on thios site appears to have three men out in front, Gray, Strachan and Hart are the choices preferred by you fans...
