Jody Morris charged with Rape

Leeds United Midfielder has this evening been charged with Rape following an allegation of a serious sexual assault earlier last month.

The 24 Year old ex-Chelsea midfielder was re-asrrested today when he attended a Police Station as agreed as part of his bail conditions. A 26 year old man was also arrested under the same conditions. In a new twist to the story, Jermaine Pennant, the Arsenal loan signing was also held for questioning but was later released without charge.

Morris will appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Leeds United have not commented on this story so far but we will bring you news as it happens.
