The press conference has been held today to outline the plans for the future. Krasner was in a positive frame of mind, and seemed to want to be upfront and honest.

There are two plans in place – one if we avoid relegation, one if we stay up. Krasner, wisely didn’t rule out the sales of Viduka and Smith, but did say that we would be able to get true market value for players now, rather than having to give them away at vastly reduced prices. He said we would continue to play at Elland road as long as he was Chairman, and mentioned that the ground could be sold, and leased back, but that was not the preferred option. Encouragingly, he said that the academy would remain, and was the future of the club. A piece of land not used at Thorpe Arch would be sold, but not the training ground. The players are now owned by the club, and while we still have some debt, it’s a normal amount for a Premiership club… More to follow
