Leeds v Sunderland - team news

Leeds go into tonights clash with Sunderland with no fresh injury worries. Kevin Blackwell will make some changes from the side that won in midweek with some of the rested players coming back.

Stephen Crainey is likely to return at left back in place of Kilgallon, whilst the manager has a tough decision to make in midfield. Jermaine Wright, Sean Gregan and Matthew Spring are battling for two spaces, with Spring the likeliest to miss out. Up front, there are several contenders for a starting role. Brett Ormorod is on a months loan from Southampton and could come straight in, whilst Michael Ricketts scored in that midweek victory over Swindon. Brian Deane, Julian Joachim and Jamie McMaster are all in the mix to be included. Joachim and Deane are possibly favourites, with Ormorod likely to start on the bench with Ricketts. Danny Cadamartari is also pushing for a space in the squad, after impressing in a 15 minute cameo in the cup.

Sunderland may have a familiar face in the squad tonight, as they have taken Michael Bridges on loan. The ex-white has joined his 4th club in 9 months as he struggles to get over the injuries that blighted his last few years at Leeds. The Utd fans have been disappointed in the manner in which he left, as well as several comments made regarding leaving Leeds, and the former favourite may receive a traditional hostile reception should he make the 16 tonight…
