Gregan abuse way out of line

A few mindless idiots tarnished the name of Leeds Utd on Saturday, by waiting behind after the Leicester defeat, and abusing Sean Gregan and his family as they left the ground.

Gregan has come in for some stick from the terraces already this season, after making a poor start to his Leeds career. The former WBA was built up as a key player in taking Leeds forward, and the fans had high expectations of him. However, he was unfit on arrival after playing very little football this season. The player has improved recently though, and is beginning to show some of the form that promted Blackwell to sign him. This though didn't stop a small group targeting the midfielder as he left the ground. As if this wasn't bad enough, his 8 months pregnant wife and 14 month old son were with him, and also abused. It's a sad day when players families and targeted after a game of football. Emotions are running high at the football club after all that has happened to us over the years. With the seemingly never ending takeopver farce, and some poor performances on he pitch, fans are understandably angry at what is going on, but thes kind of behaviour is deplorable. The vast majority of Leeds fans are the most loyal and passionate in the country, it's just a shame that a handful of idiots have put us on the back pages of this mornings papers for all the wrong reasons once again. Hopefully, come Fridays game at West Ham, the supporters can get behing Gregan and the rest of the team, and help to inspire them to a much needed win.
