Leeds clinch Lewis signing

Leeds have announced their 4th signing of the summer, as Preston’s American player Eddie Lewis arrives on a free transfer, subject to passing a medical.

The left winger signed for Preston from Fulham for £500,000 where he made 17 appearances after being signed from the US for £2 million. Boss Kevin Blackwell has been chasing a left sided midfield player for several months, and this capture will allow him to free up another ex Preston player David Healey to play up front. More transfers are expected with the Lee Clark deal still not dead, and one or two others still in talks…
