Leeds make first signing

Leeds look to have completed their first transfer of the summer with the capture of Australian midfielder Joel Griffiths. The 27 year old looked to be heading for Hearts, but Leeds have reportedly agreed an 18 month deal.

. A fee will be payable to his Swiss club, but with his contract up in the summer, it shouldn’t be too high. The player, who can play on the wing, was on trial at Leicester, where a fee of £450,000 was mentioned, but Leeds will be hoping to get the player for much less than that
