Ricketts to Burnley

Leeds striker Michael Ricketts has joined Championship side Burnley on loan until the end of the season. The ex Bolton and Middleboro man is behind Hulse, Blake, Healy and Cresswell in the pecking order, and a loan move will suit all parties.

He did well at Cardiff, and with Burnley paying a percentage of his wages, Leeds may use the money to bring in another loanee. Burnley will use ricketts to replace Adi Akinbye who joined our promotion rivals Sheffied United last week...
