There were chaotic scenes at Elland Road yesterday as tickets for the Play Off Final went on sale to Season Ticket holders, members, and corporates.
Huge queues quickly built up as people tried to sign up to become members to enable them to purchase tickets. People started arriving at 5 in the morning, despite the tickets not been sold until 10.00 am. By lunchtime, the club announced that no new members would be accepted, and by 3.30, fans were informed that no one else could join the queue. Many people had to wait for over 12 hours, with the final tickets been sold at 3.30am.
The ticket office reopens this morning, and more of the same is expected, as the huge demand for tickets shows that Leeds could sell out the entire stadium on their own.
