No confirmed new signings yet, but the rumour mill is already in full flow. Jermaine Wright has gone, but Kevin Blackwell has indicated that there will be others to follow him through the exit door.

Who Blackwell can offload will be key to who he can bring in. He will be trying to get rid of the likes of Ricketts and Moore to go with Wright and Pugh who left last month.

Various transfer targets have been muted in the press, Hutchinson is supposed to have turned us down to stay at Coventry (little truth in that). David Weir is reportedly targetted (would make little or no sense to sign a 36 year old centre back). Some old names are linked too, with Ian Harte and Steven Mcphail both rumoured to be attracting interest.

The truth is that hundreds of names will be linked over the coming weeks, but it's unlikely we will find out before the signing is complete...
