Portsmouth line up a 'Wise' move

Portmsouth could be set to sign sacked Leicester City midfielder Dennis Wise.

The former Chelsea and England international was a sacked by Leicester last week after an incident on the pre-season tour of Finland which left Callum Davidson with a serious facial injury.

Now it seems that Wise could join Harry Redkanpp at Portsmouth. Since taken over at the Fratton Park club, Redkanpp has brought in a staggering 9 new faces and indicated over the weekend that he wants one more. Wise's agent Eric Hall also dropped a broad hint to BBC Online that Wise could join Pompey. When asked about the rumour Hall said. "All I will say is that Harry could be making a wise move."
