Egil set for Div 1 return

Norwegien striker Egil Ostenstad could be set for an unnamed 1st Division team.

The 30-year-old is out of favour at Ewood Park with Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke and Matt Jansen all ahead in the pecking order.

Ostenstad is believed to be keen on a return to his homeland with Viking but it now seems that he could stay in England with a 1st Division side. No firm offer has been recieved by Blackburn but one is expected in the next few days.
