Birmingham after another Palace player

Birmingham boss Steve Bruce looks set to raid his former club, Crystal Palace, again.

This time the target is thought to be midfielder Hayden Mullins.

Bruce is a big fan of the 23-year-old and is rumoured to be ready to launch a £2million bid to reunite him with former team-mates Jovan Kirovski and Clinton Morrison at St Andrews.

The Blue may face competition from fierce rivals Aston Villa though.

Birmingham started their season with a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal and lacked creativity going forward - an element that Mullins can add.
