Div 1 players named in England U-21 squad

David Platt has named four 1st Division players in his England U-21 squad to face Yugoslavia on Friday at the Reebok.

After May's dissapointing European Championships in which England crashed out in the first round after defeats to Italy and Portugal, Platt has named a new look team. Several of last season's Under-21 stars are over the age limit and can no longer play.

The 4 1st Division players are Gary O'Neil of Portmsouth, Joleon Lescott of Wolves, David Prutton of Nottm Forest and Matthew Taylor of Portsmouth.
