Pesch out with Achilles injury

Sheffield United striker Paul Peschisolido is on the sidelines again with an Achillies injury.

The popular forward aggravated an existing injury on his Achillies during the 1-1 draw with Gillingham at the weekend.

The Blades assistant manager Kevin Blackwell confirmed the injury but admitted he didn't know how long the Canadian would be out of action. "He took a nasty knock on his Achilles against Gillingham and certainly struggled to finish.

"We're not sure how serious it is at the moment and will just have to see how it settles down later this week."

Peschisolido missed the second half of last season with a foot injury and has only just fought his way back to full fitness before this latest setback.
