Wise wants to put Leicester behind him

Dennis Wise has completed his move to Millwall and wants to put his time at Leicester behind him.

The 35-year-old has joined the First Division side until the end of the season and aims to put all behind him. "It hasn't been a wonderful time for me. The last eight weeks the press have had fun with me but that's over with.

"I regret things that have happened but it's time to move on.

"I don't like the way I'm portrayed in the press but I have to put up with it and it won't stop me playing football."

Wise then claimed that he was still friends with Callum Davison, who had his cheekbone fractured at the hands of Wise. "I shook hands with Callum the morning after the incident and I'm glad to see him back in the team. I'd like to wish him all the best.

"There's no hard feelings. In life you forgive and forget and get on with what you have to do. I was brought up to believe you shake hands and put it behind you."
